All Learning Moves to Virtual in the New Year

In-class learning for Limestone students will temporarily move to remote learning after the December break as part of the province-wide lockdown to limit the spread of COVID-19.

It should be noted that depending on community health circumstances, and direction from public health, related to  COVID-19, the dates outlined below may change.  We will keep families informed as new information is provided.

All students will move to remote learning the week of January 4 to 8, 2021. 

Elementary students (Kindergarten to Grade 8) will move to remote learning for the first week of school (January 4 to 8, 2021) with face-to-face learning resuming on Monday, January 11, 2021. 

All in-class learning for secondary students (Grade 9 to 12) will move to remote learning until January 22, 2021.  At this point, secondary students will return to face-to-face learning on January 25.There is no change to learning for students enrolled in the  LDSB Virtual School.

Childcare centres in schools will remain open, however, before and after school programs will be closed from January 4 to 8, 2021 when elementary students move to remote learning.
